Judder from standstill (Punch CVT)

Start-clutch wear — the defining Punch CVT fault in stop-go traffic. Repairable with updated clutch material; fluid condition is critical.

Fault 02

'Check transmission' with loss of drive (Punch)

Often the internal speed sensors or stepper motor. Diagnosis distinguishes a RM 600 sensor job from a belt failure.

Fault 03

X70 hesitation at low speed

Early 7DCT software calibrations hunt between clutches in crawling traffic. Updates and fluid service transform most cars; genuine clutch wear is less common than owners fear.
